BALTIMORE, MD. – Belfort Instrument Company, one of the country’s oldest meteorological sensor and meteorological system manufactures, has installed its Automated Weather Observation system (AWOS AV) at the Sky Manor Airport (N40), Pittstown, NJ
The AWOS AV provides real-time wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and altimeter setting and visibility information on a graphical displaying the FBO office, over the airport’s Unicom radio, via dial-in telephone, and on the Internet.
According to Adam Silverstein, Manager of Sky Manor; “The Belfort AWOS AV is up and running and providing real-time weather to our pilots,” he continues, “the addition of the weather station ensures our commitment to safe flight operations for everyone using the airport.”
